2016 Breakfast with a Twist

This year's Breakfast with the Gibbons featured THE Grilled Cheese Truck! Needless to say it was a hit with all our visitors both young and young at heart. While we decided to change some things up we kept some of the hits like the Eat Like a Gibbon table, which features a wide variety of fruits and vegetables we feed to our gibbons. A special thank you to Valley Produce for donating the food to the event. Kids' activities included making a gibbon necklace, playing musical instruments, an interactive slideshow of the Center, gibbon toss, face painting, and a look in our Conservation Station which included a gibbon skeleton and footprints. We also had a tour given by our Director Gabi Skollar, special treats of mealworms and sunflower butter for the gibbons, and the unveiling of our Brick Patio. The new items at the gift shop were also a hit. We had a very successful Silent Auction due to all of the generous donations from businesses and individuals. We would love to thank everyone that came to the event as well as all of our volunteers who came out to help before, during, & after the event.
